IMSAR and TEKEVER Join Forces to Revolutionize UAS with Cutting-Edge SAR Technology

IMSAR and TEKEVER are set to integrate advanced Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) technology into unmanned aerial systems, enhancing surveillance, intelligence, and reconnaissance capabilities for defense and security operations

TEKEVER and IMSAR Collaboration Boosts UAV Radar Technology

TEKEVER and IMSAR Join Forces to Advance UAV Radar Technology

IMSAR, a prominent U.S. developer specializing in Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), has entered into a two-year collaboration with TEKEVER, a leading European entity in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), to enhance the integration of sophisticated SAR technology into TEKEVER’s drone platforms.

Enhancing ISR Capabilities

This collaboration aims to bolster intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities by merging TEKEVER’s expertise in UAVs with IMSAR’s state-of-the-art radar systems, resulting in a more robust and efficient aerial monitoring solution.

Operational Insights and Tactical Refinement

As part of the agreement, TEKEVER will collaborate closely with IMSAR to refine operational strategies and capabilities, leveraging insights gained from real-world applications, including experiences from the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

Streamlining Integration and Support

The teams will investigate innovative methods to enhance hardware integration and software compatibility, ensuring that IMSAR’s radar technology is smoothly integrated into both current and future UAS models from TEKEVER. Furthermore, IMSAR will offer preferred partner support, volume-based pricing, and collaborative marketing efforts to maximize the benefits of their combined solutions.

Unified Mission Management

A significant aspect of this initiative is the integration of IMSAR’s Lisa3D mission management suite with TEKEVER’s ATLAS web-based UAV Mission Enhancer. This collaboration will yield a cohesive operator interface, significantly improving workflow efficiency during maritime surveillance operations.

Advanced Target Detection and Tracking

IMSAR’s radar systems are particularly adept at wide-area vessel detection and tracking moving targets over extensive distances, providing real-time targeting data to onboard electro-optical and infrared sensors for accurate identification. By synchronizing platforms, sensors, and advanced analytics, TEKEVER’s UAS will enhance situational awareness, extend operational reach, and optimize intelligence collection across expansive land and maritime domains.

Proven Success in Flight Tests

This partnership builds on a accomplished history of collaboration, highlighted by recent flight tests featuring IMSAR’s NSP-5 Synthetic Aperture Radar mounted on TEKEVER’s AR5 UAS.The results showcased a remarkable force-multiplier effect, with the AR5 achieving a higher target detection rate per hour and extending EO/IR engagement time beyond any comparable UAS in its class.

Vision for the Future

TEKEVER’s CEO, Ricardo Mendes, remarked, “Our partnership with IMSAR is transformative, positioning us at the forefront of radar technology innovation. By merging IMSAR’s advanced technology with our UAS capabilities, we are redefining the landscape of surveillance and reconnaissance missions, while also preparing for future radar integrations. This collaboration enables us to address the increasing demand for sophisticated solutions in complex and dynamic operational environments, such as military missions and border security.”

Redefining airborne Surveillance

By combining their expertise in radar technology and UAS innovation, TEKEVER and IMSAR are set to redefine airborne surveillance, ensuring enhanced mission effectiveness and improved intelligence capabilities for defense and security operations globally.
