A Proven Leader with Diverse Experience
Rick Stollmeyer, an alumnus of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, boasts a rich background as a former submarine officer and nuclear engineer. He is also the visionary founder and Executive Chairman of Mindbody, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform catering to the wellness industry. under his leadership, Mindbody evolved from a small garage startup to a publicly traded company, culminating in its acquisition by Vista Equity Partners for an extraordinary $1.9 billion. this journey has equipped rick with extensive expertise in scaling rapidly growing tech enterprises.
Strategic Vision and Growth at IFT
In addition to his new role as CEO, Rick has served as the Chairman of the Board at Inspired Flight, playing a pivotal role in shaping the company’s strategic direction since its establishment in 2016. Over the past five years, IFT, under the guidance of rick’s son Marc and three co-founders, has successfully built a robust brand, upgraded its manufacturing capabilities, and consistently increased its output of UAV systems.
