EIZO Rugged Solutions Inc. has introduced the Condor VC300xX, an ultra high-definition (UHD) video capture card designed in the XMC form factor, specifically tailored for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
The Condor VC300xX is engineered for military C5ISR (command, control, communications, computers, combat systems, intelligence, surveillance, adn reconnaissance) applications. With a power consumption of less than 20W, it is notably well-suited for SWaP-sensitive (size, weight, and power) environments, such as drones and other ISR platforms.
This advanced card can handle up to eight SDI video inputs, accommodating a variety of resolutions including 12G, 3G, and HD-SDI. additionally, it features two CVBS capture channels with self-reliant audio capabilities.
The multiple SDI inputs and support for diverse video formats allow the XMC video capture card to consolidate video feeds from various sensors and cameras, enhancing 360-degree situational awareness and tracking capabilities.
With its high resolution and minimal latency, the Condor VC300xX is perfectly suited for critical defense operations, where rapid decision-making is essential based on incoming video intelligence.
Furthermore, the card supports PCI Express, facilitating high-speed data transfer to the host system for effective real-time processing and analysis of UHD video.
Available in both air-cooled and conduction-cooled ruggedized versions, the XMC card meets VITA 47.3 environmental standards, ensuring durability in challenging conditions.
John Payne, Senior Product Manager at EIZO Rugged Solutions, remarked, “The Condor VC300xX is a single-slot XMC card capable of capturing and transmitting up to eight video feeds together in real-time, empowering operators to enhance threat detection and response efficiency.”
