ATMOSPHERE has released the PLANET 9770 UAV dedicated to UAVs, & the DO-160G qualified PLANET 9770 FTI SATCOM Terminal, both are compatible with the Iridium Certus satellite network

ATMOSPHERE has unveiled its latest offerings in the Iridium product line: the PLANET 9770 UAV and the PLANET 9770 FTI (flight Test Instrument). These robust SATCOM terminals are specifically engineered for unmanned aerial vehicle applications and utilize Iridium Certus 100 technology.

The PLANET 9770 series is tailored to meet diverse needs within the aviation sector,encompassing a variety of uses such as flight testing,drone operations,aerial surveys,scientific investigations,medical transport,commercial aviation,and helicopter missions,among others.

FTI Terminal

The PLANET 9770 FTI is designed to fulfill the connectivity demands of mission aircraft and rotorcraft, providing essential services such as collaborative tools, live weather updates, and real-time sensor data management.

Its rugged construction accommodates the installation requirements of various aircraft types, and it comes equipped with an aeronautically certified antenna. Notably, ATMOSPHERE is recognized as the sole provider globally of DO-160G certified Iridium Certus 100 terminals.

ATMOSPHERE claims to be the only European manufacturer providing Iridium Certus 100 aviation units specifically designed for UAVs.
