Introducing the POC-465AWP: A new Era of waterproof Industrial Computing
Neousys Technology has broadened its range of waterproof industrial computing solutions with the launch of the POC-465AWP, a fanless embedded system. Powered by the Intel Elkhart Lake Atom X6425E and housed in a durable stainless steel and aluminum chassis, this IP66-rated device is designed for optimal thermal performance and features robust M12 connectors, making it perfect for robotics and unmanned systems in challenging, dusty, and humid environments.
Durability in Harsh Conditions
The POC-465AWP’s sealed enclosure effectively protects internal components from corrosion due to high salinity or humidity. This makes it an excellent choice for deployment in environments with significant air pollution, such as agricultural fields, seaports, manufacturing plants, mining operations, or as a data collection gateway on vehicles. Its advanced thermal management allows for operation in temperatures ranging from -25°C to 70°C with minimal thermal throttling, eliminating the need for additional waterproof or weatherproof housing for fanless systems.
Robust Connectivity for Demanding Applications
Equipped with M12 connectors, the POC-465AWP ensures reliable connections even in high-shock and high-vibration settings. It includes two 2.5G Ethernet ports, one isolated RS-232 port, and one isolated RS-422/485 port, safeguarding the motherboard from potential voltage spikes that could harm internal components. Additionally, the system features one VGA port, two USB 2.0 ports, an M.2 M key slot for SATA SSD support, and a mini-PCIe slot for wireless communication options such as WiFi, LTE, and CAN bus.
