This lightweight and compact hemispherical passive antenna is ideal for providing UAVs and UGVs with access to the Iridium worldwide satellite communication and location service network, enabling two-way voice and data communication from anywhere in the world.
The antenna is also receive-only for GPS L1, providing positioning and timing capabilities for any attached radio system. The rugged IP67-rated unit has been designed with a wide 120-degree hemispherical coverage area to capture as much sky as possible and reduce satellite acquisition time.
