Klein marine Systems has selected Exail’s Octans Nano OEM Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS) as the preferred navigation technology for its 5900 Side Scan sonar (SSS).

Designed for compact underwater platforms, the Exail Octans nano OEM AHRS provides heading data with an remarkable accuracy of 0.5° secant latitude, alongside pitch and roll measurements accurate to 0.1°. These specifications create a stable reference frame essential for high-resolution sonar imaging, wich in turn minimizes post-processing efforts and enhances positioning accuracy. Its lightweight design and low energy consumption make it ideal for extended underwater missions.
