Northcom has added unmanned communication solutions by LS Elektronik to its expanding portfolio, enabling seamless communication between remotely operated vessels and operators anywhere in the world


LS Elektronik Acquired by Northcom

Northcom, a leading provider of critical communication solutions, has announced the acquisition of LS Elektronik, an engineering company based in Stockholm specializing in hardware and software for the professional communication market.

With this strategic acquisition, Northcom aims to expand its product offering, including the rapidly growing area of remote control of radio communication over IP and integration of various types of radio systems.

LS Elektronik will continue its operations under its own name within the Northcom umbrella and will further enhance the combined skills and experiences of both companies. Lars Stahre will continue his work within the company, bringing extensive industry knowledge and experience to support Northcom’s future endeavors. Roland Ehne, responsible for the marketing of Mimer SoftRadio, will continue to play a central role along with the rest of the experienced team at LS Elektronik.
