The Sense Aeronautics’ detect-and-avoid (DAA) technology employs onboard electro-optical (EO) and infrared (IR) cameras to autonomously identify both cooperative and non-cooperative aircraft near the drone. This system delivers real-time notifications that significantly improve the safety of intricate drone operations, particularly in BVLOS (beyond visual line of sight) scenarios.
This solution offers various logging capabilities, encompassing essential telemetry, health metrics, alarms, tracking data, and visual details. Logs can be stored locally or sent in real-time to the ground control station.Furthermore, the software is capable of processing video from a ground-based camera to oversee the airspace and relay detection alerts via radio interaction.
The architecture of the system allows for deployment on the UAV itself, at the ground control station, or within either public or private cloud environments.
