The MERLIN True3D BDR-DDR is the world’s first combined counter-UAS and bird control system, designed to protect critical facilities such as commercial airports, military airfields, and air bases. Available in both fixed and mobile configurations, the self-contained system works under all weather conditions with a range of two to six miles.
The system incorporates advanced solid-state Doppler radars for long-range detection, as well as DeTect’s True3D panel radars for full 360-degree surveillance and protection with continual updating of target data across the entire 3D volume. Radar-controlled EO/IR cameras and DroneWatcher RF-DR radio frequency sensors can also be optionally integrated for real-time target classification and identification.
