Meteksan Defence at DIMDEX 2022: Showcasing Innovation
Meteksan defence has announced itS participation in the 2022 Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition (DIMDEX),where it will unveil a range of innovative products,including the ULAQ unmanned surface vessels (USVs) designed for anti-submarine and surface warfare,alongside a 6×6 mobile coastal control station.

The DIMDEX event serves as a platform for defence industry leaders to engage with naval forces from the Gulf region, Asia, and Africa.Meteksan Defence plans to highlight several cutting-edge technologies at the exhibition, which include:
- MILSAR UAV Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Moving Target Indication (MTI)
- KAPAN Counter-Drone Technology
- NAZAR Laser-Based Electronic Warfare System
- PELIKAN Radio Frequency Guided Missile Simulator
Leadership in Naval Technology
Selcuk Kerem Alparslan, the President of Meteksan Defence, stated, “Since our inception, we have focused on creating advanced technological solutions tailored for naval forces, especially in the realms of underwater acoustics and platform simulation. Alparslan further noted, “The YAKAMOS 2020 Hull Mounted Sonar System has recently been exported to two additional countries after its successful deployment on the Turkish Naval Forces’ MILGEM Corvettes. Our advancements in specialized fields, such as the NAZAR Laser Electronic Warfare System, underscore the significant progress Meteksan Defence has made.”
