MostaTech to Debut Next-Gen Fiber Optic Gyros & Inertial Sensors at XPONENTIAL 2025

MostaTech will introduce groundbreaking fiber optic gyros and IMUs at XPONENTIAL 2025, showcasing innovations in high-speed output, ruggedization, and ultra-compact SWaP optimization

MostaTech to Debut Next-Gen Fiber Optic Gyros & Inertial Sensors at XPONENTIAL 2025

MostaTech, a developer of miniature fiber optic gyroscopes (FOGs) and FOG-based inertial measurement units (IMUs), will unveil two innovative new products at XPONENTIAL 2025, taking place May 19-22 in Houston, Texas.

High-Speed Three-Axis Fiber Optic Gyro: G321M

Engineered to meet the growing demand for compact and high-performance inertial sensing solutions, the G321M is a state-of-the-art three-axis fiber optic gyro that delivers exceptional data throughput and precision.

Key specifications

  • Ultra-Compact Form Factor: 53 x 53 x 36 mm
  • Lightweight: Only 145 grams
  • High-Speed Output: Data output rate of 8 kHz
  • Exceptional Low-Noise Performance: Bias stability of 1°/h; Angular Random Walk (ARW) of 0.025°/√h
  • Advanced Magnetic Shielding: Maintains accuracy in high magnetic field environments
  • Energy Efficiency: Low power consumption of 2W

Ruggedized Fiber Optic Gyro: VG2103S-3000

MostaTech’s new VG2103S-3000 represents a major evolution in gyro ruggedization, providing high-precision inertial data even in extreme operational environments.

Highlighted capabilities

  • Shock Tolerance: Resists impacts up to 3000g
  • Vibration Resistance: Endures continuous vibrations up to 18g
  • Precision Performance: ARW of 0.03°/√h with bias stability of 1°/h

Ideal for applications subjected to severe mechanical stress, the VG2103S-3000 ensures robust and reliable operation without compromising accuracy.

Additional Advanced Inertial Solutions on Display

Alongside its flagship launches, MostaTech will exhibit several other cutting-edge inertial products:

  • VG221: The industry’s smallest fiber optic gyroscope, measuring just ∅33 x 12 mm and weighing 15 grams, with an ultra-low power draw of 0.3 W. This device redefines SWaP (Size, Weight, and Power) benchmarks for miniature gyros.
  • U121D and U123D IMUs: These inertial measurement units combine MostaTech’s miniature FOG technology with MEMS accelerometers to deliver outstanding low-noise performance, superior bias stability, and enhanced magnetic immunity.

Designed as low-SWaP, cost-effective, non-ITAR solutions, MostaTech’s sensors are ideal for integration into inertial navigation systems (INSs) and stabilization platforms across UAVs, UUVs, USVs, ROVs, and gimbal-mounted systems.

MostaTech will showcase these products at XPONENTIAL 2025, May 19-22 in Houston, USA, at booth 3301.
