MostaTech to Present Cutting-Edge Fiber Optic Gyroscopes & IMUs at IDEF 2025

MostaTech to Unveil Innovative Fiber Optic gyroscopes and IMUs at IDEF 2025

MostaTech, a prominent name in the development and manufacturing of fiber optic gyroscopes (FOGs) and FOG-based inertial measurement units (IMUs), is set to showcase its latest advancements in inertial sensing technology at the 17th International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2025). This event will be held from July 22-27 in Istanbul, Turkey, at Hall 11, Booth B03.

Shock-Resistant Fiber Optic Gyroscope – VG2103S 3000

The VG2103S 3000 is engineered to excel in harsh conditions, ensuring dependable performance even in high shock and vibration scenarios.

  • Shock Endurance: Capable of withstanding shocks of up to 3000g
  • Vibration resilience: Functions effectively in environments with vibrations reaching 18g
  • minimal Noise Levels: Features an angular random walk of 0.03 degrees per root hour and a bias stability of 1 degree per hour

Compact Three-Axis Fiber Optic Gyroscope – G321M

The G321M provides accurate three-axis inertial sensing in a compact and lightweight design, making it ideal for demanding unmanned and defense applications.

  • Space-Saving Dimensions: Measures 53 x 53 x 36 millimeters
  • Lightweight Construction: Weighs merely 145 grams
  • High Data Output: Delivers inertial data at a rate of 8 kilohertz
  • Exceptional Precision: Offers a bias stability of 1 degree per hour and an angular random walk of 0.025 degrees per root hour
  • Energy Efficient: Consumes only 2 watts of power
  • Magnetic Shielding: Provides enhanced protection against strong magnetic fields

Additional Innovations on Display

MostaTech will also feature the VG221, recognized as the smallest fiber optic gyroscope on the market, alongside the U121D and U123D inertial measurement units. These compact IMUs combine miniature fiber optic gyros with MEMS accelerometers, achieving a remarkable balance of low noise, stable bias characteristics, and effective magnetic shielding. They are specifically designed for high-performance missions where minimizing size, weight, and power consumption is crucial.

Applications of MostaTech’s Technologies

The diverse product lineup from MostaTech offers cost-effective, non-ITAR restricted inertial solutions suitable for a wide range of platforms and applications, including:

  • Inertial navigation systems for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs), unmanned surface vessels (USVs), and remotely operated vehicles (ROVs).
  • Stabilization systems for gimbals, sensors, and other mission-critical platforms.
