MostaTech,a leading innovator in the development and production of Fiber Optic Gyroscopes (FOGs) and FOG-based Inertial Measurement Units (imus),is poised to introduce its latest G321M three-axis FOG at the upcoming XPONENTIAL Europe event in Düsseldorf, scheduled for February 18-20,2025.
This state-of-the-art gyroscope is designed to meet the increasing demand for high-performance inertial sensors that prioritize size, weight, and power efficiency (SWaP). The G321M offers superior functionality in a more compact design.
With dimensions of merely 53x53mm, the G321M represents a significant reduction in size compared to its predecessor, the G121, which was 52x58mm. Additionally, it boasts a remarkable performance upgrade, featuring an 8 kHz data rate—double that of earlier models, which were limited to 4.8 kHz.
At its core, the G321M incorporates three high-precision single-axis Fiber Optic Gyroscopes housed within a robust structure, complemented by a fully integrated three-channel ADC board that delivers angular rate outputs via an RS422 interface. This advanced sensor guarantees outstanding stability, characterized by low noise levels, a bias stability of 1°/h, and an angular random walk (ARW) of 0.025°/√h.
A standout feature is its integrated magnetic shielding, which achieves a magnetic immunity of 0.3°/h/Gauss—essential for functioning in environments with magnetic interference.Despite this added feature, the device remains impressively lightweight at just 145g.
Engineered for optimal efficiency, the G321M operates with a minimal power consumption of only 2W, making it an ideal solution for applications where compactness, reduced weight, and low energy usage are critical.
