Neousys Technology, a leader in rugged embedded systems, has proudly unveiled its support for Intel’s 13th generation Raptor Lake processors, including the Core i9, i7, i5, and i3 models, which boast up to 24 cores and 32 threads across its latest embedded platforms.
The newly supported platforms encompass the Nuvo-9000, Nuvo-9531, and Nuvo-9501 series, tailored for industrial and automation applications, as well as the Nuvo-9160GC and Nuvo-10208GC series, designed specifically for edge AI computing and autonomous vehicle technologies.
the 13th generation Core processors are equipped with a maximum of 24 cores and 32 threads. With the addition of efficiency cores in the i5, i7, and i9 models, along with enhanced cache sizes, Intel claims that users can experience single-threaded performance improvements of up to 15% and multi-threaded performance enhancements of up to 41% compared to the previous generation. Overall system performance can see improvements as high as 2x when compared to the earlier 10th or 11th generation platforms.
Neousys’ Intel 13th Gen product line, characterized by its distinctive industrial embedded design, delivers robust computing capabilities and extensive I/O options to cater to various vertical applications.
The Nuvo-9000 series is designed with efficient thermal management, a wide array of I/O options, and adaptable expansion capabilities, making it ideal for automation and machine vision tasks. Meanwhile, the Nuvo-9160GC and nuvo-10208GC series are compatible with the latest NVIDIA GPU cards, facilitating advanced AI computing. These models also feature patented thermal and anti-vibration technologies, enabling their deployment in challenging in-vehicle environments for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Neousys plans to introduce 13th and 12th generation platforms for in-vehicle (Nuvo-9000VTC series) and machine vision (Nuvis-9000 series) applications shortly.
Additionally, existing Neousys platforms based on Intel’s 12th generation can be upgraded to support the 13th generation processors through a BIOS update, ensuring long-term compatibility and future-proofing.
“We are thrilled to integrate the latest 13th generation processors into our Nuvo-9000 and 10000 series,” stated Chris Ni, Product Director at Neousys Technology. “Our collaboration with Intel allows users to harness the impressive performance of the 13th gen Raptor Lake processors while enjoying exceptional stability and reliability.”
