To bolster these functionalities, Rain has integrated the TrakkaCam® TC-300-R, which offers real-time infrared and high-definition color imaging. This allows Rain’s AI to accurately map fire fronts, identify hotspots, and evaluate fire intensity—even in thick smoke. The TC-300-R’s geo-location features enable precise tracking of fire progression and suppression resources, ensuring a well-coordinated response.

The TC-300-R, specifically designed for wildfire operations, features a radiometric long-wave thermal imager, a high-definition daylight camera, and a laser rangefinder, all stabilized by a 4-axis active gyro system for enhanced image clarity. Built to penetrate smoke and improve situational awareness, the system employs advanced image processing and various viewing modes to assist operators in visualizing fire dynamics, detecting hotspots, and pinpointing critical areas of concern.
Providing high-resolution color imagery and long-range infrared capabilities, the TC-300-R allows for accurate, non-contact temperature measurements—an essential feature for effective wildfire management and the protection of both human lives and wildlife.
