New Propeller Balancing Solution Unveiled

Tyto Robotics has released a new dynamic propeller balancing solution, an advanced software feature that offers a streamlined approach to achieving balanced rotors and improved unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) performance.

The company, a world leader in propulsion test equipment for UAVs, has designed the new balancing feature to allow users to meet ISO 21940-11 grade balancing standards with just a few quick spins of the propeller.

With the ability to reduce vibration, minimize noise, stabilize cameras, and extend the service life of UAV components, this feature promotes smoother and more stable flight experiences. The feature can also be used to balance electric motors.

Accessible through a software license, the propeller balancing feature integrates seamlessly with Tyto Robotics Flight Stands. It guides users through each step of the balancing process, from initial characterization to precise weight placement and final corrections. Users can easily configure their test parameters and achieve a high standard of balance directly through the Flight Stand software.

The propeller balancing feature is now available for purchase. Interested customers can contact the Tyto Robotics sales team or visit their website for more information. With this release, Tyto Robotics continues its commitment to providing innovative and accessible solutions for the UAV industry.

Charles Blouin, President and co-founder of Tyto Robotics, commented, “By offering this feature as a software upgrade, we’re giving our customers a convenient way to improve their UAV operations without additional hardware. An ISO-grade balance can be achieved in just three quick spins of the propeller.”
