New Rugged Vehicle Omni Antennas with NATO & USA Flange Mounts

Southwest Antennas has released a new line of omni antennas that are designed to be mounted to manned and unmanned vehicles, including UGVs (unmanned ground vehicles) and robotic platforms.

The product range includes options for L, S and C bands, as well as a dual-band L and S antenna, and the base of each antenna can be mounted to a 6-hole NATO or standard 4-hole USA vehicle mounting bracket.

Compatible with most leading tactical radio systems, the new antennas provide 360-degree azimuth coverage and feature high-quality element designs that provide optimal peak gain. They have been designed with a Type-N (f) RF connector and require no ground plane.

The rugged vehicle omni antennas are ideal for demanding military and law enforcement applications, and are rated IP67 for ingress protection. Designed with heavy-duty spring bases, they can withstand snags and significant impacts, and have been rigorously collision-tested at 30 mph to ensure optimum longevity and performance.

The new Southwest Antennas omni antenna range includes:

1073-003 – L-band antenna (1.35-1.45 GHz) with 5.2 dBi max gain
1073-001 – S-band antenna (2.2 – 2.5 GHz) with 5.6 dBi max gain
1073-002 – C-band antenna (4.4 – 5.0 GHz) with 5.9 dBi max gain
1073-004 – L & S-band antenna (1.35-2.5 GHz) with 2.6 dBi max gain
