Nicomatic is set to present its diverse range of modular and customizable interconnect solutions at DSEI 2021. Introduction of the DBMM Series

At the event, nicomatic will introduce its latest DBMM Series, an advanced version of the DMM 2mm connectors that features fully integrated backshells. These compact connectors, measuring just 15mm in depth, are designed for ease of handling and provide superior EMI protection.Compliant with MIL-DTL-83513 standards, the series includes two models: DBMM220, accommodating 4 to 32 contacts, and DBMM320, supporting 6 to 48 contacts. These connectors are ideal for high-power and high-frequency applications, particularly in military UAVs.

Showcasing the EN4165 Optimus Connector

Nicomatic will also highlight its EN4165 Optimus connector, a low-profile, user-configurable rectangular I/O connector series.This innovative design offers a high-density solution that saves space compared to conventional circular connectors. Designers can customize the layout to include both signal and power contacts. the Optimus connectors are built to endure 500 mating and de-mating cycles, and also high shock, vibration, and extreme temperature conditions. They also provide excellent EMI shielding and are waterproof. Fully compatible with existing EN4165 solutions, these connectors are designed for efficient equipment interface connections, whether in harnesses or rack and panel installations.

Advanced Miniature Connectors

Thanks to Nicomatic’s modular manufacturing capabilities, their miniature connectors are highly customizable and deliver outstanding performance. These connectors can be closely stacked to optimize PCB space.Featured at DSEI will be the 1mm pitch nano density AMM Series, which is rated for 15G vibration, 100G shock, and operates effectively in temperatures ranging from -65°C to 200°C. Additionally, the 1.27mm pitch EMM Series meets MIL-83513 performance standards and is 20% smaller than conventional Micro D connectors. With integrated 90° back protection and reversed contacts, EMM connectors are suitable for both board-to-board and board-to-wire configurations, offering a pin selection range from 4 to 60 signal contacts.

Furthermore, Nicomatic will showcase its expertise in cabling solutions, including the Microflex Hi-Rel Flexible Harness, specifically designed for high-vibration environments.
