OceanAlpha to Demonstrate High-Endurance Autonomous USV in Dubai

OceanAlpha will demonstrate its L25 USV in Dubai, showcasing autonomous survey technology designed for offshore applications, long-endurance missions, and real-time data acquisition

OceanAlpha to Demonstrate High-Endurance Autonomous USV in Dubai

OceanAlpha, a leading innovator in unmanned surface vessel (USV) technology, is inviting maritime professionals and technology decision-makers to a live demonstration of its advanced L25 USV in Dubai.

The event will take place on May 26–27, 2025, providing a unique opportunity to experience OceanAlpha’s cutting-edge autonomous marine survey technology in action.

Attendees will gain a practical understanding of autonomous survey operations and see first-hand how the L25 simplifies complex marine missions through remote operation and fleet deployment, real-time sensor data visualization and analytics, as well as flexible payload integration and mission customization.

L25 USV

The L25 USV is purpose-built for high-endurance, precision-driven marine operations. It supports a wide range of applications that are critical for offshore industries, including:

  • Hydrographic and bathymetric surveys
  • Subsea pipeline and cable inspections
  • Seabed mapping and characterization

With up to 130 hours of continuous operation and a fully autonomous control system, the L25 significantly reduces operational costs, enhances safety, and improves efficiency in data collection missions.

Equipped with a comprehensive suite of professional-grade instruments, the L25 delivers enhanced data quality and real-time analysis capabilities:

  • Multibeam Echo Sounder (MBES) – for detailed 3D seabed mapping
  • Side-Scan Sonar – for imaging and object detection
  • Sub-Bottom Profiler – for subsurface analysis
  • Magnetometer – for detection of ferrous objects

These integrations make the L25 ideal for mission-critical operations in oil & gas, renewable energy, environmental monitoring, and maritime engineering.

Event Details

  • Date: May 26–27, 2025
  • Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Places for the demonstration are limited, with priority given to government, energy, infrastructure, and maritime stakeholders.
