OceanAlpha Unveils Cutting-Edge High-Endurance Autonomous USV at Dubai Showcase

OceanAlpha will demonstrate its L25 USV in Dubai, showcasing autonomous survey technology designed for offshore applications, long-endurance missions, and real-time data acquisition

OceanAlpha to Showcase Advanced autonomous USV in Dubai

OceanAlpha, a frontrunner in the field of unmanned surface vessel (USV) technology, is set to host a live exhibition of its state-of-the-art L25 USV in dubai, aimed at maritime professionals and technology leaders.

This event is scheduled for May 26–27, 2025, offering a rare chance to witness OceanAlpha’s innovative autonomous marine survey technology in real-time.

Participants will acquire hands-on insights into autonomous survey operations, observing how the L25 streamlines intricate marine tasks through remote control, fleet management, real-time data visualization, and customizable mission parameters.

Introducing the L25 USV

The L25 USV is meticulously designed for high-endurance and precision-focused marine tasks. It caters to a variety of essential applications within offshore sectors, such as:

  • Hydrographic and bathymetric assessments
  • Inspection of subsea pipelines and cables
  • Mapping and characterizing seabeds

With the capability to operate continuously for up to 130 hours and an autonomous control system, the L25 substantially lowers operational expenses, boosts safety, and enhances efficiency in data collection endeavors.

Fitted with a robust array of professional-grade instruments, the L25 ensures superior data quality and real-time analytical capabilities:

  • Multibeam Echo Sounder (MBES) – for intricate 3D seabed mapping
  • Side-Scan Sonar – for imaging and object identification
  • Sub-bottom Profiler – for analyzing subsurface structures
  • Magnetometer – for locating ferrous materials

These features make the L25 exceptionally suited for critical operations in sectors such as oil and gas, renewable energy, environmental monitoring, and maritime engineering.
