Revolutionizing Water Safety: The Dolphin 1 Lifebuoy

Aquasafe, the distributor for OceanAlpha, has showcased the innovative Dolphin 1 Remote-Controlled Lifebuoy at the picturesque Blue Lake (Lago Azul) in Rio Claro, Brazil. This demonstration marks a significant advancement in water rescue technology.

Key Attendees and Support

The event was attended by officials from the Secretariat for Economic Advancement of Rio Claro, specifically from the Department of Technological Innovation. Notable figures such as representatives from the Civil Defense and Councilor Moysés Marques were also present, highlighting the importance of this technological advancement in public safety.

Efficiency and Safety in Rescue Operations

Luciano Luiz Murbach, CEO of Aquasafe, emphasized the capabilities of the Dolphin 1, stating, “This remote-controlled lifebuoy can reach a drowning individual faster then even the most skilled swimmer, allowing the operator to remain safe and dry while executing the rescue.”

real-World Applications and Future Demonstrations

The Dolphin 1 was also utilized in a drowning simulation at Broa Dam in Itirapina, where firefighters participated in the exercise. Future demonstrations are planned for the Maritime Guard, the Navy, and the High Command Corporation of the Fire Brigade in Rio de Janeiro, showcasing its potential for widespread adoption.

Enhanced Rescue Capabilities

Beyond ensuring the safety of lifeguards, the Dolphin 1 Water Rescue Device boasts superior autonomy and efficiency compared to human rescuers. It is designed to save multiple individuals in a fraction of the time, significantly improving response rates in emergency situations.
