Parachute Recovery Systems for Commercial Drones

The ParaZero SafeAirâ„¢ parachute system uses sophisticated AI and machine learning-powered flight computer analysis to constantly monitor and analyze drone flight data and patterns in real time. Flight risks and aircraft failures are autonomously identified, and once triggered, SafeAir carries out a series of safety measures with unparalleled speed:

  • Quickest Parachute Deployment – Thanks to our patented guard solution, the parachute is activated and opened to full canopy in a fraction of a second
  • Autonomous Flight Termination System (FTS) – The SafeAir TM system cuts power to the motors to deny injury and damage to the parachute cords
  • Flight Computer – Our system monitors the flight constantly and detects any abnormalities that can lead to a crash
  • Safety Buzzer – An audio warning buzzer alerts bystanders on the ground about incoming danger, providing them with the time to move out of harm’s way
  • Post-Deployment Analysis – By importing the flight logs into our app, you can reverse engineer the cause of the parachute deployment and debrief your flight

Our spring based safety solution for the DJI Mavic 3 series provides autonomous monitoring and triggering, enabling safe recovery of the aircraft and its payloads even at very low altitudes. This is a key tool to get higher TRL (Tech Readiness Level) and ensure its reliability.

*A reproducibility test, AKA repeatability and reproducibility (R&R) test, is a method used to assess the performance of a product or measurement system by evaluating the consistency of measurements across different conditions. It helps determine if a measurement system can produce the same results when used repeatedly under varying conditions like different operators, instruments, or locations.
