Smart MANET radio for reliable connectivity on the move
The MPU5 is the world’s most advanced, scalable, and efficient Mobile Ad Hoc Networking (MANET) radio, allowing you to create secure self-forming and self-healing networks anywhere. Based on 3×3 MIMO technology and powered by our Wave Relay MANET, it provides extended range and increased throughput in both line of sight and beyond line of sight environments.Every MPU5 on a Wave Relay network communicates with each other, forming a true peer-to-peer mobile network that is massively scalable and allows devices to be freely added and subtracted without losing connectivity or requiring reconfiguration. With up to 10W of transmit power, the MPU5 can encode and stream live audio and video, including H.264 feeds at resolutions ranging from 320×240 to Full HD 1080p30 and 720p60.
The MPU5 is a true Smart Radio, featuring a custom Android-based operating system that allows you to run third-party Android applications directly on the device. In addition to being easily installed on a range of unmanned systems platforms, it can be directly connected to monitors, input devices and sensors to create a convenient GCS in the field.
Designed to withstand the most challenging of conditions, the rugged unit is IP68-rated and designed to withstand extremes of temperature, water immersion, shock, and salt fog.

SWaP-optimized MANET radio module for UAVs & unmanned systems
The Embedded Module allows you to unite your UAVs, UGVs, and sensors on the Wave Relay MANET, transforming them into networked assets that can deliver mission-critical video and data from anywhere. The ultra-low-SWaP module also allows you to replace your unmanned system’s separate communication, computing, and video subsystems with a single unified package, reducing space and weight requirements as well as costs and engineering time.
With up to 10W of power and 3×3 MIMO technology, the Embedded Module provides greater range, throughput and reliability than any other integration-ready radio on the market. The integrated computing capabilities allow you to run collision avoidance and swarming algorithms directly onboard and take advantage of the peer-to-peer Wave Relay MANET for optimized coordination.
The Embedded Module features an Interchangeable Frequency Architecture that allows users to easily adapt to the requirements of different global regions or missions. It is pre-certified to MIL-STD-461 RE102 standards, eliminating the need to certify separate devices separately and ensuring faster time to market.
The Embedded Module is Blue UAS-certified.
