The ping20Si Mode S ADS-B transponder is purpose-built to meet the demanding requirements of professional UAV platforms. Weighing only 20 grams, it enables secure and standards-compliant operations in controlled airspace by broadcasting aircraft position and altitude to ATC radar and Traffic Collision Avoidance Systems (TCAS).
Fully compliant with RTCA DO-181E and DO-260B protocols, the unit integrates a battery-backed SBAS GPS and temperature-compensated pressure sensor to deliver precise airborne positioning without relying on external systems.
Designed for seamless installation and maximum compatibility, the ping20Si supports multiple control protocols including MAVLink and GDL90, ensuring interoperability with common ground control systems and autopilot architectures like PixHawk.
The transponder’s low-SWaP profile is matched by operational flexibility, requiring no autopilot integration for basic functionality, and drawing from standard 11–28V power sources. Its compact form factor, plug-and-fly deployment, and SMA-terminated antenna interface allow easy adaptation across diverse drone platforms operating in airspace with stringent visibility and safety requirements.
