Product Spotlight: XPedite6107 Compact Computing Solution

The XPedite6107 from Extreme Engineering Solutions delivers compact, rugged computing with NXP QorIQ processors, rich I/O, and conduction-cooled XMC/PrPMC versatility

The XPedite6107 from Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is a rugged, compact, and cost-effective conduction-cooled XMC/PrPMC module based on the NXP (formerly Freescale) QorIQ T2081, T1042, or T1022 processors.

Designed for high-performance embedded applications, the XPedite6107 is ideal for space-constrained environments where reliability and efficiency are critical.

Processor Configurations

The XPedite6107 supports multiple processor options, a wide range of I/O configurations, and up to 8 GB of DDR3 ECC SDRAM.

When configured with the T2081 processor, it delivers maximum performance via eight virtual (four dual-threaded) e6500 cores running at up to 1.8 GHz. Each e6500 core includes an NXP AltiVec technology-based SIMD engine, offering DSP-level floating-point performance and access to a rich library of software tools.

The T1042 processor offers a lower-power configuration with four e5500 cores at up to 1.4 GHz. For ultra-low power applications, the T1022 provides two e5500 cores, also running at up to 1.4 GHz.
