Skyeton showcases Raybird 3 UAS to ukrainian Authorities
skyeton recently showcased it’s Raybird 3 unmanned aerial system (UAS) in a demonstration flight attended by officials from Ukraine’s Ministry of Internal affairs, along with representatives from various operational units, including police, emergency services, border guards, and the national guard.
Exceptional Endurance and Versatility
The Raybird 3 stands out as a long-range platform with remarkable endurance, capable of flying for over 24 hours. This feature makes it notably suitable for critical missions such as crime scene investigations, search and rescue operations, disaster management, and continuous surveillance. the drone is designed with a modular payload system that can carry up to 5 kg, allowing for the integration of diverse sensors, including high-resolution cameras, synthetic aperture radar (SAR), radio relays, and electronic warfare (EW) tools. Notably, it can transmit video feeds over distances exceeding 100 kilometers.
Real-Time Situational Awareness
During the demonstration, the UAS was fitted with a stabilized gimbal, enabling it to stream live video back to the observers. This capability is crucial for missions in remote locations where immediate situational awareness is essential.
Rapid Deployment and User-Kind Design
Following the accomplished flight, the UAV operators highlighted the simplicity of disassembling and repacking the aircraft, a process that requires no tools. The man-portable design allows for unpacking and deployment in just 15 minutes, making it an excellent option for operations that demand versatility and quick response times.
Future Collaborations on the Horizon
The demonstration was deemed a success, and Skyeton is optimistic about future collaborations with the participating units, aiming to enhance operational capabilities in the field.
