MBSE
Model-based systems engineering for AAM ecosystems
We leverage our wide range of systems engineering proficiencies to create scalable AAM ecosystems for clients interested in using our FRAIHMWORKâ„¢ software or OptiX Operations Center. With experience in RTCA DO-178C qualified aerospace software, formal training in System Safety Assessment (via MIL-STD-882E), and certification in Systems Engineering from INCOSE, we design reliable and safety-critical solutions that meet the needs of both commercial and military customers. Our unique and expert MBSE-based approach to AAM ecosystem development provides a range of benefits, including:
- Open architecture with encapsulation, minimizing system rework costs when factors inevitably change
- Requirements-driven from day one, ensuring full traceability from top to bottom
- SysML models that fully describe the solutions we design, developed in close co-operation with our customers
AAM OptiXâ„¢
Digital operations center for safe & scalable UAS & AAM integration
AAM OptiXâ„¢ provides aviation-grade digital infrastructure for safe, secure, and scalable AAM and UAS operations. Funded by NASA and AFWERX, the web-based solution can be easily integrated into physical infrastructure, sensors, and data feeds, enabling the integration of drone and eVTOL platforms into National Airspace Systems (NAS). Ideal for a wide range of use cases, including regional BVLOS systems, counter-UAS, drone-in-a-box networks, and disaster response, AAM OptiXâ„¢ offers:
- Common aerial operating picture that fuses cooperative and non-cooperative surveillance with telemetry data and provides a single icon for each object
- Strategic deconfliction of UAS traffic with flightplan conformance monitoring
- In-time aviation safety management with real-time monitoring and mitigation
- Low altitude weather modeling and forecasting
- Proactive cybersecurity monitoring
- Automated dynamic constraints handling for up-to-the-minute route planning and traffic management
