Advanced 2-Slot VPX Rugged Testing Framework

The Advanced 2-Slot VPX Rugged Testing Framework is a robust chassis designed for deployment in the field, ensuring dependable performance in unmanned and defense-oriented applications. It features a 3-slot backplane, including a dedicated slot for a VITA 62 power supply, and is compatible with VITA 48.2 conduction-cooled VPX modules. The system incorporates air assist technology to improve thermal performance in extreme conditions. Its enclosure is adaptable for various custom I/O configurations utilizing MIL-STD connectors and meets rigorous standards such as MIL-STD-810,MIL-STD-461,MIL-STD-167,and MIL-S-901D.

Compact and Versatile Design

With dimensions of 5.11″ x 6.96″ x 12.88″ in its base form, the system can expand to 16.58″ when an optional module is added, providing flexibility for testing and deployment in space-constrained environments. Weighing only 14.5 lbs without payload, this lightweight chassis is ideal for integration into mobile or aerial unmanned systems.It is specifically designed to work with a single-slot VITA 62 compliant power supply unit, making it an excellent choice for rapid prototyping, subsystem validation, or operational deployment of VPX-based computing solutions in challenging environments.
