The Eelume-S: A Revolutionary All-Terrain Autonomous Underwater Vehicle

Introducing the Eelume-S, the latest innovation from subsea technology leader Eelume, designed to revolutionize underwater operations through the integration of Voyis and Wavefront Systems technology.

Historically, autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) have faced limitations in accessing various underwater environments. The Eelume-S breaks through these constraints, providing enhanced versatility and sustainability for exploring previously unreachable areas.

Notable Features of the Eelume-S

Autonomous Functionality & Comprehensive Terrain Mapping

The eelume-S operates in both fully autonomous and semi-autonomous modes, enabling mission planning focused on specific objectives and real-time data processing during operations.

With its ability to maneuver freely in all directions, the Eelume-S ensures safe and enduring exploration, even in the moast challenging underwater landscapes. Its agile design significantly broadens its applications for exploration, inspection, and monitoring of intricate underwater environments.

Advanced Imaging & High-Resolution Bathymetric Mapping

Equipped with the Voyis Observer Micro,the Eelume-S excels in capturing detailed 3D photogrammetry and photomosaic images of underwater structures,maintaining a fixed altitude as low as 1 meter over uneven seabeds.

This imaging system features 4K still image capabilities and LED panels that emit up to 480,000 lumens, resulting in exceptionally clear optical images. Onboard light leveling and color correction further enhance the quality, pushing the boundaries of autonomous ocean exploration.

Moreover, the Wavefront Solstice Multi-Aperture Sonar allows the Eelume-S to perform advanced bathymetric mapping, covering a swath of 200 meters with a resolution as fine as 3 centimeters.

User-Friendly Design & Portability

The Eelume-S is engineered for ease of use,streamlining mission planning and execution so that users can concentrate on their discoveries.

Weighing between 45 and 75 kg, the Eelume-S can be easily deployed from small vessels or even directly from shore, making it highly accessible.
