Innovative Geolocation Technology for non-GPS Environments Successfully Showcased

Revolutionary Geolocation Technology Demonstrated in GPS-Denied Conditions

Trillium Engineering, a frontrunner in cutting-edge gimbaled imaging technologies, has successfully showcased its GD-Loc solution utilizing the HD55-MV system mounted on an active Group 2 uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV).

This flight marks a pivotal achievement in confirming GD-Loc’s real-time, high-precision geolocation capabilities in environments where GPS signals are compromised or entirely absent.

The tests validated GD-loc’s ability to reliably maintain Category 1 geolocation accuracy within a six-meter range during operations without GPS.

Thes findings highlight GD-Loc’s considerable benefits for contemporary intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) operations, building on Trillium’s earlier success at the U.S. Army’s Positioning,Navigation,and Timing Assessment Experiment (PNTAX) in September,where GD-Loc effectively produced category 1 target coordinates amid live GPS and communication jamming scenarios.

“Showcasing GD-Loc’s capabilities on a competitive Group 2 UAV emphasizes the versatility and strength of this technology,” stated Dr.N. Andrew Browning, Chief Technology Officer at Trillium Engineering. “This represents a transformative leap for operators requiring precise geolocation when conventional GPS systems are not an option.”
