Hexagon | NovAtel has unveiled the PIM222A, an innovative GNSS positioning module designed specifically for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and self-driving vehicles.Leveraging NovAtel’s extensive expertise in precise positioning solutions,this module employs SPAN technology to deliver reliable position data,even in urban settings where GNSS signals might potentially be limited.

Advanced Features for Enhanced Performance

The PIM222A integrates tightly coupled GNSS receivers with inertial measurement units (IMUs),ensuring uninterrupted access to position,velocity,and attitude facts,even during short GNSS signal interruptions. This multi-frequency, multi-constellation module is equipped with RTK capabilities and dual antennas, optimizing performance for low-speed operations and quick initialization.

Flexible Integration for Various Production Needs

Designed to be lightweight and energy-efficient, the solder-down module offers exceptional flexibility for integration, making it suitable for production runs of any size—whether low, medium, or high.
