Revolutionary Heavy-Lift Camera Gimbal Designed for Industrial Drones

Gremsy's Aevo gimbal can lift up to 9 kg and provides 360-degree panning capability

Gremsy has unveiled the Aevo,a cutting-edge heavy-lift gimbal crafted from carbon fiber, specifically designed for industrial UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles). This model boasts the highest payload capacity among all Gremsy gimbals to date.

The Aevo is built with a robust carbon fiber frame, enhanced mechanical design, and powerful brushless motors, which collectively increase the gimbalS stability while maintaining a lightweight and compact profile. The carbon fiber construction not only ensures remarkable strength but also contributes to the gimbal’s agility and portability, making it ideal for field operations.

This gimbal is notably suited for users needing to carry considerable payloads. With a spacious camera cage measuring 230x195x200mm and a maximum load capacity of 9kg,Aevo efficiently accommodates larger and heavier equipment. This capability makes it an excellent choice for various industrial cameras utilized in mapping, surveying, hyperspectral imaging, and geodetic tasks.

Equipped with a sophisticated 16-bit high-resolution encoder, the Aevo delivers superior image stabilization. Its 360-degree endless panning feature allows for extensive coverage of subjects from any angle.

The gimbal features an innovative quick-release mechanism that enhances safety, stability, and ease of use while facilitating the transfer of power and control signals for both the gimbal and the camera. This quick-release system also supports connections such as USB 2.0, CAN, UART, S-bus, Spektrum, PPM, and Bluetooth 4.0.

Aevo is compatible with the DJI M600 and various drone platforms based on Pixhawk, thanks to its standard damping system. Additionally, its built-in CANbus and gSDK functionalities enable users to control the gimbal through the M600 Lightbridge 2 or MAVLink 2 protocols. By connecting to the COM 2 port, aevo supports both the SDK and MAVSDK, allowing for seamless integration into custom solutions.

Highlighted specifications of the Gremsy Aevo gimbal include:

Weight: 2.63kg (5.8 lbs)
Payload Capacity: 1.67 – 9kg (3.7 – 20lbs)
Dimensions (DxWxH): 433x307x433 mm
Camera Cage Dimensions (DxWxH): 230x195x200 mm
Connectivity Options: USB 2.0, CAN, UART, S-bus, Spektrum, PPM, Bluetooth 4.0
Operating Modes: On/Off, Lock, Follow, Mapping
