T-DRONES has unveiled its latest innovation: the 8S 14.4Ah lithium-ion battery,engineered to provide remarkable endurance and enhanced energy density for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs),with a particular focus on the VTOL VA17 drone.

Utilizing cutting-edge solid-state lithium-ion technology, the 8S 14.4Ah battery weighs in at a mere 1,480 grams, making it a more practical option compared to conventional batteries while delivering outstanding power-to-weight performance.

Specifically designed for vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) systems, a single 8S 14.4Ah battery can power the VA17 for up to 120 minutes under typical operating conditions. Recent flight evaluations by T-DRONES engineers revealed that the VA17, carrying an 800-gram payload, exceeded the 120-minute flight time, showcasing the battery’s remarkable real-world capabilities.

This battery boasts a high discharge rate of 10C, ensuring a strong high-current output, quick responsiveness, a stable discharge profile, and an extended cycle life. These characteristics make it an optimal energy source for rigorous aerial missions.

The solid-state lithium-ion composition at the heart of the battery not only boosts energy density but also minimizes weight and enhances longevity. Collectively,these features lead to longer flight times and greater operational efficiency for drones utilizing this advanced battery.

battery Care and Maintenance

To help users prolong the lifespan of the battery,T-DRONES has provided the following maintenance tips:

  • Storage Voltage: after each flight,recharge the battery to a storage voltage between 30.0 and 30.4V.
  • Regular Conditioning: Every three months, fully charge the battery, discharge it to 28V, and then recharge to the recommended storage voltage.
  • use Certified Equipment: Always utilize an officially certified charger to guarantee optimal performance and safety.
  • Cooling Period: Allow the battery to cool fully after use before starting a recharge cycle.
  • Discharge Threshold: Avoid discharging the battery below 26V. Discontinue use of any battery that falls below this level.

By adhering to these guidelines, users can significantly enhance the operational lifespan of the 8S 14.4Ah battery, ensuring dependable and efficient performance for their drone operations.
