Revolutionary Miniature GNSS-INS: Elevating Mission-Critical Applications!

The tactical-grade Ekinox Micro is RTK-compatible and features robust GNSS anti-jamming and spoofing

Introducing Ekinox Micro: A Revolutionary GNSS-Aided Inertial Navigation System

SBG Systems has unveiled the Ekinox Micro,a state-of-the-art,compact GNSS-aided inertial navigation system (INS) that promises exceptional precision even in the most demanding conditions. This innovative device integrates a high-performance MEMS tactical inertial sensor with a dual-antenna GNSS receiver that operates across four constellations, ensuring compliance with military standards such as MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-1275, and MIL-STD-810.

Compact Design Meets Robust Performance

With dimensions of merely 4.2 x 5.7 x 6.0 cm and a weight of just 165 grams, the Ekinox Micro is designed for portability without compromising durability. It is indeed equipped with pre-set motion profiles tailored for various applications, including land, aerial, and maritime environments, such as UAVs, UGVs, and USVs.This feature allows the system to optimize its sensor and algorithms for peak performance under diverse conditions.

User-Kind Integration and Connectivity

The Ekinox Micro prioritizes ease of use and seamless integration. It comes with straightforward connectors, a web-based configuration interface, a built-in data logger, Ethernet connectivity, a PTP server, and a REST API that supports multiple input and output formats. These features enable developers to effortlessly incorporate the system into their existing applications and workflows.

Advanced Accuracy and Security Features

This system is RTK-compatible and utilizes a tactical-grade IMU with a calibration accuracy of 0.8°/h across its entire operational temperature range. It boasts notable roll/pitch accuracy of 0.015°, heading accuracy of 0.035°, and positional accuracy of 1.2 meters without corrections, or as precise as 1 centimeter with RTK. Additionally, the Ekinox Micro is equipped with advanced technologies to combat GNSS jamming and spoofing. Its dual-band, full-constellation GNSS considerably minimizes the risk of prosperous attacks, while its mitigation algorithms filter out jamming and spoofing attempts, alerting users when a compromised signal is detected.

Resilient Navigation in Hostile environments

The system features an automatic aggressive regression mode that activates inertial sensors and velocity aiding as soon as a potential jamming or spoofing event is identified. This capability allows the Ekinox Micro to maintain effective navigation in hostile settings, ensuring continued operation for extended periods when combined with velocity aiding methods such as Odometry, DVL, or Airdata.
