UEI has launched a new I/O system designed to meet the demanding needs of the aerospace and defense industries, delivering impressive reliability in manned and unmanned applications

United Electronic Industries (UEI) has unveiled its newest product, the DNR-MIL-4, a four-slot military-grade I/O system tailored for the rigorous demands of the aerospace and defence sectors, suitable for both manned and unmanned systems.

New I/O System for Aerospace & Defense Launched

This state-of-the-art system is engineered for remarkable reliability and performance in the most demanding environments. Built to meet MIL-STD-810G,MIL-STD-1275/708,and MIL-STD-461F standards,its compact and robust design ensures outstanding durability,making it an ideal choice for mission-critical operations.

Measuring just 9.5 inches in width, 7.1 inches in depth, and 4.3 inches in height, the DNR-MIL-4 is a versatile solution designed for intricate testing and control systems. It accommodates a range of powerful processors, including the 8347 PowerPC, ARM-based SoloX, and quad-core Zynq UltraScale+.

The rugged chassis is built to withstand extreme conditions, operating within a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. Featuring I/O configurations via 38999 connectors, it can manage up to 200 channels and includes dual Gigabit Ethernet ports for rapid data transmission.UEI provides an extensive selection of over 90 I/O boards, including options for avionics, synchro/resolver, and VDT, ensuring broad compatibility and functionality.

This system excels in various applications, from health and usage monitoring (HUMS) to flight-line testing and ground vehicle operations, delivering accurate, real-time data processing and control through technologies like time-sensitive networking (TSN) and data distribution services (DDS). Its adaptability also extends to critical scenarios such as launch pad control systems and jet engine testing, allowing engineers and operators to rely on its consistent performance in extreme conditions.
