Chess Dynamics has unveiled its innovative Deep Embedded Feature Tracking (DEFT), a complex real-time video tracking system designed to deliver precise and reliable tracking even in challenging environments.
Utilizing a deep learning framework developed by Vision4ce, a Chess brand, DEFT constructs a detailed model of the target being tracked. This allows the system to effectively identify and reacquire moving targets, even after they have been obscured.
DEFT excels in monitoring complex targets, such as rapidly changing objects or those that accelerate quickly, amidst both foreground and background distractions, where conventional tracking algorithms frequently enough falter.
This technology enhances Chess’s AI-powered target detection and tracking capabilities, integrating seamlessly with neural network-based object identification and classification for various targets, including multi-rotor drones, maritime vessels, and ground vehicles.
As tracking continues, the model is dynamically refined to improve its comprehension of the target, leading to consistent and accurate long-term tracking performance. This precise classification enables the system to leverage automation for prioritizing threats and generating alerts, while also producing valuable analytics to support informed decision-making.
