SL200 Achieves Live Video Transmission Over 65 km in UAV Maritime Operations
Recently, the SL200 system was successfully integrated into a Boreal drone, utilized by Meteo France for cyclone forecasting. This deployment highlighted the system’s exceptional data link stability over extensive distances during a live mission.
Reliable long-Distance Communication
Equipped with Simpulse’s GRS-T200 tracking antenna, the SL200 facilitated the transmission of Control & Command signals, telemetry data, and live video feeds from the drone, achieving a remarkable range of 65 kilometers with a minimal power output of just 0.4 watts.
Commercial Availability of advanced Technology
The production of the SL200 and GRS-T200 commenced in November 2018, and this complete long-range data link solution is now available for commercial use, marking a meaningful advancement in UAV communication technology.
