Revolutionizing Aerial Imaging: The Spirit Coaxial UAV with Integrated Multispectral Camera

The RedEdge-P multispectral camera by AgEagle will be the first multispectral solution integrated with Ascent AeroSystem's all-weather coaxial Spirit UAV

Ascent AeroSystems has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with AgEagle to combine the AgEagle rededge-P multispectral camera with Ascent’s advanced Spirit coaxial unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).

This partnership aims to highlight the adaptability and long-term viability of Ascent’s UAV systems while showcasing AgEagle’s expertise in collaborating with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to address critical integration challenges in the agricultural UAV industry through modularity and compatibility.

The integration of the rededge-P multispectral camera marks a important milestone, as it will be the first such solution incorporated into Ascent’s robust, all-weather coaxial UAV platforms.

Bill Irby, CEO of AgEagle, stated: “Delivering high-quality, actionable insights to our clients is fundamental to our mission, which is why we are partnering with Ascent AeroSystems. The synergy between our cutting-edge camera technology and the Spirit platform is a perfect match.Collaborating with manufacturers like Ascent allows us to enhance precision and capabilities in the agricultural sector.”

Peter Fuchs, President of ascent AeroSystems, remarked: <em“The agricultural drone market is experiencing rapid growth, and the demand for dependable, high-performance, scalable UAS platforms is essential. By combining the rugged, reliable, all-weather design of the Spirit with the precision and efficiency of AgEagle’s leading RedEdge-P camera, we are setting the stage for further innovation and growth in agriculture.”

This collaboration was unveiled at the Xponential 2025 trade show held in Houston.
