The FB3 is an all-electric multirotor drone that requires no disassembly, making it easy to transport in a van or trailer, ready for immediate deployment. This versatile unmanned Aerial system (UAS) is engineered for BVLOS (beyond visual line of sight) operations, featuring a robust data link that transmits essential flight control data and telemetry over distances of up to 10 kilometers. All frequency bands are specifically optimized to reduce interference and are ECO (European Communications Office)-certified.
This highly versatile heavy-lift drone boasts remarkable strength, capable of carrying a payload of 100 kg while weighing just 70 kg. It is indeed available in two configurations, allowing users to transport various payloads efficiently:
Sling Configuration: utilize a proprietary remote-controlled load hook to lift and release heavy cargo.
cargo Compartment: A durable transport box measuring 81 x 35 x 30 cm, designed to accommodate a wide array of payloads and operational needs.
The FB3 is equipped with eight brushless motors arranged in a coaxial quadcopter configuration. This innovative setup separates propulsion into upper and lower subsystems,providing essential redundancy for enhanced safety while ensuring outstanding heavy-lift capabilities.
With FlyingBasket’s custom-designed smart batteries, the FB3 serves as an eco-pleasant and sustainable alternative to traditional helicopters and combustion engine aircraft for critical cargo missions, significantly reducing its environmental impact.
Safety is a primary focus in the design of the FB3. The aircraft is equipped with a comprehensive array of advanced features to ensure reliability and mission confidence, even in challenging conditions. These include a Flight Termination System (FTS), an optional ADS-B receiver, and a radar AGL sensor.
Additionally, FlyingBasket provides a variety of extensive training programs for drone pilots and their teams.
