Harxon has published an insightful article detailing the advantages of its automotive antenna solutions tailored for intelligent connected vehicles (ICVs).

Intelligent connected vehicles are outfitted with refined sensors, controllers, actuators, and various devices, all supported by cutting-edge communication and networking technologies. These vehicles are designed to enable seamless facts exchange between the vehicle and its surroundings, including other vehicles, infrastructure, pedestrians, and cloud services. The future of ICVs promises enhanced autonomous driving capabilities, aiming to make transportation safer, more eco-pleasant, and increasingly agreeable.

The communication requirements for ICVs are diverse,encompassing GNSS,5G,V2X,WiFi,Bluetooth,AM/FM,UWB,and ETC. This variety places important demands on ICV antennas. many existing products face limitations such as operating on a single frequency band, restricted transmission range, inadequate resistance to interference, and complicated layouts. Harxon addresses these challenges with two innovative solutions: the HX-AUST002 and HX-AULT002.

Harxon’s ICV antennas are high-performance, multi-band automotive solutions that facilitate dedicated short-range communication (DSRC) and cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) interactions. They feature multi-constellation, multi-band GNSS antennas that ensure reliable and accurate positioning, alongside consistent V2X communication through uniform radiation elements. Additionally, these antennas incorporate four built-in 5G antennas.

The design of the ICV antennas utilizes a patented modular structure, allowing for the integration of seven broadband antenna units into a single compact housing. This design is adaptable,accommodating custom requests for hardware connectors,low-noise amplifiers (LNAs),and other options such as DSRC,UWB,AM/FM,and dual-band Wi-Fi. The sleek shark fin profile minimizes the risk of damage from overhead obstacles and reduces aerodynamic drag, while the IP67-rated rugged housing guarantees durability in challenging environments, including vibrations, extreme weather, and high-speed conditions.
