introducing Hydro-Tech marine: Innovators in underwater Survey Technology
Hydro-Tech Marine stands at the forefront of developing advanced underwater and hydrographic survey instruments tailored for uncrewed surface vessels (USVs) and unmanned underwater vehicles, including ROVs (remotely operated vehicles) and AUVs (autonomous underwater vehicles). UST is thrilled to announce our partnership with Hydro-Tech marine, and we will be showcasing thier innovative solutions and expertise across our platforms over the coming year.
New Supplier Profile Launch
We are excited to unveil Hydro-Tech Marine’s UST supplier profile, crafted in collaboration with their team. This Silver profile highlights their extensive range of acoustic and sonar technologies, featuring multibeam echosounders, side scan sonars, and sound velocity sensors and profilers.
Key Products and Features
The MS400U is a state-of-the-art, lightweight multibeam echo sounder designed specifically for small unmanned platforms like USVs. It incorporates an integrated surface sound velocity profiler and an AHRS (attitude and heading reference system), making it perfect for surveying various water bodies, including lakes, rivers, and reservoirs.
This system is engineered to handle meaningful attitude variations typical of smaller unmanned vessels, utilizing 512 acoustic beams and advanced dynamically-focused beamforming technology. The MS400U adheres to the accuracy standards set by the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) for hydrographic surveys.
ES Series side Scan Sonars
The ES Series of embedded side scan sonars offers frequency options of 450 kHz, 900 kHz, or both. With self-adapting wave adjustment technology and sophisticated broadband signal processing, these sonars are ideal for a wide range of high-resolution underwater imaging tasks.
These compact and lightweight sonars can connect via Ethernet or RS232 serial, and they feature 8 programmable TTL synchronous control outputs, effectively addressing common challenges related to acoustic interference and synchronization.
SVP1500 Sound Velocity profiler
The SVP1500 sound velocity profiler delivers precise sound speed data and depth measurements for various applications, including underwater mapping, surveying, and marine construction. With a high sampling rate and cutting-edge time-of-flight measurement technology, it achieves sound velocity accuracy of 0.05 m/s and depth precision of 0.15 m.
This lightweight, corrosion-resistant SVP sensor is equipped with a high-performance lithium battery, offering over 8 hours of continuous operation and a 16GB storage capacity for logging more than 4000 hours of data.
SVS1500 sound Velocity Sensor
the SVS1500 sound velocity sensor employs advanced time-of-flight measurement technology and digital signal processing to provide measurements with an accuracy of up to 0.05 m/s. With an output rate of 30 hz, it can swiftly respond to rapid changes in water currents and sound velocity.
Constructed from high-quality materials with an ultra-low coefficient of thermal expansion, this compact sensor ensures exceptional performance and minimal deformation, maintaining high precision even in challenging underwater conditions.
