Trakka Systems Delivers Cutting-Edge Surveillance Technology to 2Excel
Trakka Systems has recently finalized a deal to provide two of its advanced TrakkaCam TC-375 long-range electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) multi-sensor surveillance camera systems for installation on 2Excel’s fixed-wing Diamond Aircraft.
Innovative Features of the TC Series
The TC series from Trakka Systems is renowned for its state-of-the-art technology, encapsulated in a robust and user-kind design. This series sets a new benchmark for full HD (1080p) long-range multispectral imaging, all within a Non-ITAR single-line replaceable unit (LRU) configuration.
Enhanced Imaging Capabilities
the TrakkaCam TC-375 is equipped with EO/IR sensors that utilize advanced image processing techniques, allowing operators to effectively see through challenging environmental conditions such as haze, low light, fog, and complete darkness.
Advanced Target Detection Features
Among its many features, the TC-375 includes a Moving Target Indicator (MTI) with a specialized Drone Detection Mode, which significantly enhances system performance while alleviating the workload for operators. Additionally, a high-speed digital video engine is integrated directly into the single-LRU gimbal, offering a variety of standard and optional functionalities.
Simplified Integration with Third-Party Systems
This model boasts improved interfaces that facilitate seamless integration with third-party equipment. It features embedded dual-stream H264 video with KLV metadata transmitted over Ethernet, eliminating the need for external encoders and simplifying connections with Moving Map and datalink systems.
Real-Time Data Sharing and Situational Awareness
These capabilities empower operators and command centers to exchange mission-critical data in real-time, enhancing situational awareness through augmented reality overlays or purely synthetic views.
“We are thrilled that the TrakkaCam TC-375 has been chosen to meet the rigorous mission demands of another prestigious program, and we look forward to supporting 2Excel,” stated Adam boniecki, Business Progress Manager at Trakka Systems.
