Traditional industrial switches were too large for the robot’s streamlined design, prompting JettyRobot to seek a more compact solution from BotBlox.

In its latest models, jettyrobot has integrated BotBlox’s GigaBlox Nano. This miniature Ethernet switch, measuring just one inch square, delivers the gigabit speed essential for effective data transmission within the robot.

Modular Design for Enhanced Functionality

The modular architecture of GigaBlox Nano was a notable benefit for JettyRobot. It enabled the creation of a custom daughterboard that includes one Ethernet port equipped with a transformer for long-distance connections, while the other three ports utilize Picoblade cables for internal networking.
