RIEGL Expands Operations with New Munich Office
RIEGL has inaugurated a new office in germany, dedicated to terrestrial and UAV-based laser scanning, along with mobile mapping solutions.
This new location, situated in Gilching near Munich, complements RIEGL’s existing headquarters in Austria and the United States, as well as its global network of offices. The establishment of this German office is a strategic move to address the increasing demand for LiDAR technologies across various sectors, including surveying, construction, and infrastructure.
Enhanced Customer Support in Germany
The newly formed subsidiary, RIEGL Deutschland Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH, aims to provide enhanced direct support to customers throughout Germany regarding all aspects of RIEGL technology.
Leadership Team and Expertise
Erwin Burth has been appointed as the Managing Director, overseeing business development in Germany alongside Nikolaus Studnicka, the Technical director, and Bernhard Kurzbauer, the Commercial Director.
Nikolaus Studnicka brings extensive experience as a long-time RIEGL employee and is a recognized authority in laser scanning applications.
Bernhard Kurzbauer contributes his knowledge in finance, law, and controlling, playing a crucial role in executing RIEGL’s global expansion strategy.
