The SEAEXPLORER 1000 is the newest generation of ALSEAMAR’s autonomous underwater glider platform, featuring significant improvements in power efficiency and payload management, as well as reduction in acoustic noise. Utilizing variable-buoyancy propulsion with large ballasting volumes, it provides silent operation and is ideal for a wide range of oceanographic, oil and gas, and defense applications.
With an endurance of up to 110 days and the ability to carry a total payload of 8 kg or up to six sensors across wet and dry bays, the battery-powered SEAEXPLORER 1000 is ideal for collecting physical, chemical, biological, and acoustic data. The highly cost-effective platform features a low logistical footprint, requiring no support vessels during the mission and able to be deployed and recovered in coastal waters by small teams.
