SightLine Applications Unveils Version 2.24 Update for Video Processors
SightLine Applications has officially launched its software update version 2.24 for its Video Processors,introducing enhanced functionalities and performance improvements.
Enhanced Compatibility and Power Efficiency
This latest update brings support for Revision C of the 3000-OEM multi-channel video processing platform, allowing it to seamlessly replace existing 3000-OEM setups. The power consumption has been optimized, with a maximum of 6W in Single DSP mode and 10W in Dual DSP mode.
Advanced Video Input and Output Features
The updated software now allows the 3000-OEM to handle 1080i input and output separate video streams via HDSDI and HDMI. Additionally, it is compatible with airborne Innovations’ micro Global Shutter camera, expanding its versatility.
New Detection and Tracking capabilities for Counter-UAS Applications
A range of innovative detection and tracking features tailored for counter-UAS (unmanned aircraft systems) applications have been introduced, including:
- New modes for drone detection and tracking, specifically designed to identify and follow small, rapidly moving UAS.
- A pause mode for tracking that allows operators to maintain focus through significant obstructions or events.
- The Radiometric Detect algorithm has been divided into two distinct algorithms: Blob Detection,which identifies objects with brightness levels differing from their surroundings,and Radiometric Detection,which locates objects within a specified amplitude range for ISR integrators.
- Multi-PiP functionality with detection, enabling small picture-in-picture windows to open with each detection, enhancing operator situational awareness and analysis.
- A new dashed-line reticle feature that activates when tracking confidence is low.
- Support for Landing Aid sample code compatible with Pixhawk APM, in addition to existing support for PX4 and native MicroPilot systems.
