Silicon sensing to Showcase Innovations at ISTS 2025
From july 12 to 18, Silicon Sensing will be present at the 35th International symposium on Space Technology and Science (ISTS) in Tokushima, Japan, at Booth 30.
Leading the Way in MEMS Technology
Silicon Sensing specializes in MEMS-based inertial navigation and stabilization solutions. Their all-silicon sensor technology is designed to deliver precise and continuous inertial measurements, making it ideal for applications with strict size and weight limitations.
Recent Milestones
Two notable advancements have marked the company’s recent progress:
- In October 2024, Silicon Sensing collaborated with the Tokyo Institute of Technology, one of Japan’s premier science and technology universities, to successfully complete a program assessing the performance of their DMU41 inertial measurement unit (IMU) for low Earth orbit (LEO) missions.
- In November 2024, the company announced that its compact Pinpoint® gyro will be integrated into the MARS Phobos moon rover as part of the Martian Moons eXploration (MMX) initiative.
Focus of ISTS 2025
The ISTS serves as a vital platform for engineers, researchers, established companies, startups, and other stakeholders in the space sector to gather, share their latest research, and exchange valuable insights.
This year’s symposium will particularly highlight transportation and mobility in space, recognizing these as critical components of any space exploration mission.
