skyAlert

Wearable ADS-B detection system for drone operators

Socials
skyAlert

skyAlert is a compact, rugged ADS-B detection system designed specifically for UAS pilots and visual observers operating in dynamic, low-altitude environments. Engineered for real-time situational awareness, it detects cooperative aircraft broadcasting on both 978 MHz and 1090 MHz, instantly delivering audible and multicolor LED alerts without requiring operators to divert attention from the aircraft.

With a field-proven form factor )lightweight, durable, and mountable via RAM® belt or visor clip), skyAlert meets the practical demands of utility inspections, emergency services, and agricultural drone missions.

The device is fully self-contained, requiring no installation and offering immediate startup with USB-C rechargeable power for up to 12 hours of field use. Integrated Wi-Fi enables broadcast of GDL-90-compliant data to popular EFB apps such as ForeFlight, SkyDemon, and EasyVFR, while onboard photocell-driven brightness control ensures visual indicators remain visible in any lighting condition.

Firmware updates and factory resets are easily managed through a web-based interface. Though not a certified detect-and-avoid system, skyAlert enhances airspace awareness in compliance with FAA safety practices.
