Raybird UAS Overview
the Raybird 3 is a compact, fixed-wing UAV engineered for extensive reconnaissance and surveillance missions. This drone boasts an operational endurance exceeding 24 hours,a payload capacity of up to 5kg,and the ability to transmit video over distances greater than 100 km,making it an optimal choice for ISTAR (intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance),search and rescue (SAR),and other missions that demand real-time situational awareness.
This portable, all-in-one solution can be set up and ready for deployment in just 15 minutes, featuring fully autonomous operations for takeoff, landing, and payload management. The Raybird 3 is powered by a four-stroke gasoline engine, ensuring over 24 hours of flight time, and can be programmed with predefined flight paths along with an automatic return-to-launch feature.
Equipped with a modular payload system and a lift capacity of 5kg,the Raybird 3 can be outfitted with various sensors for adaptable and versatile operations, including gyro-stabilized gimbals, aerial cameras, synthetic aperture radar (SAR),radio relays, and electronic warfare (EW) systems. The Raybird 3 can be customized during production to meet specific user requirements and can be easily upgraded as needs evolve.

The Raybird 3 can be launched from virtually any terrain using a catapult and retrieved via parachute and airbag. Sensitive gimbals and payloads are safeguarded by a specialized retraction mechanism, while the aircraft is equipped with redundant servos and other critical components to enhance reliability. An encrypted digital data link ensures protection against electronic threats.
Skyeton also provides a comprehensive professional drone operator training program that educates participants on the regulatory frameworks governing UAS operations and their implications for defense and commercial sectors. The course delves into both operational and technical aspects of drone usage, as well as the risk management processes involved in obtaining authorizations for UAS flights.
This four-week training initiative comprises three segments: a theoretical component, a practical segment, and a series of flight training sessions. The program concludes with a final assessment, and successful candidates will receive an official operator certification.
